@erin_taube our MAY contemporary dancer #reemerge resident artist is finishing up her residency @theprojectspace_apollobay and would like to hold an open contemporary dance class to the #apollobay community to finish up her time here!
“What is contemporary dance? Contemporary dance is all about self expression and storytelling. It pulls from traditional styles like ballet, jazz and street styles, but breaks away from the strict techniques and movements that make those styles so recognisable.
If this sounds like something that interests you, come down to the project space and boogie with me!
Details: The class would take place next Wednesday (the 7th of June) from 6:30pm-7:30pm @ The Project Space. Show up in whatever you feel comfortable in and make sure to bring some water!
It will be a $5 entry fee for adults and kids can come for free! Everybody is welcome, I’m just looking to share my practice with the community :)
