Tidelines
the intricacies you create.
Rhythmic lines engraved into the granules,
Messages left from the depths.
Sculptured walls that carry my mind to a place of quietness.

In this Exhibition there is a fragile part of myself that I have let be exposed; as it's my first since losing my mother & becoming a mother. These works are reflections of the many thoughts that I processed on my walks, and how they changed & morphed from deep grief to hope and rebirth. Just like the tidelines & intricate marks of nature exposing her vulnerabilities. Works are created on quality handmade watercolour & printmaking papers.
This collection of works consist of mixed media Ink pen, watercolour and rock pigment paintings and drawings

Artist Bio
2006 attended Geelong Fine Arts School. 2007-2008 completed a Diploma of visual arts at RMIT Melbourne; majoring in sculpture & printmaking. My love of printmaking & mark-making grew from a trip to Japan in 2008, I was inspired by the concept of Wabi sabi a philosophy rooted in Zen Buddhism of finding beauty in all things that are simple, imperfect and impermanent. Over the years I have exhibited various works at local cafes & galleries and have been involved with arts projects for the Apollo Bay Music Festival & Winter Wild festival.
